Basant Panchmi comes in the Hindu Magh period and means that spring is coming. The chilling cold makes way for fresh and gentle breeze. People get into attires with different shades of yellow to celebrate this day. It seems that the whole world opens the arms for the spring season.
Here are some things you did not know about this beautiful festival:-
- Basant Panchmi signifies the start of fifth day of Maagh every year. ‘Basant’ signifies spring and ‘Panchmi’ means the fifth day on which it falls.
